Our homes are thoughtfully designed to cater specifically to the needs of individuals over 60. Each Court typically has a Court Manager available during normal working hours to provide essential background support to tenants. For added peace of mind, all homes are equipped with emergency alarm systems. Should additional assistance be necessary, the Court Manager can coordinate with relatives, friends, or the appropriate Social Services Department.

Our homes are self-contained, offering a comfortable living space that includes a lounge, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom and toilet. The flooring is covered with tiles or cushion flooring for ease of maintenance and comfort. To ensure a warm and cozy environment, all homes are centrally heated.

This comprehensive setup ensures that tenants can enjoy a secure, comfortable, and independent lifestyle.

Specifications

Kitchens – The kitchen is modern and designed with practicality in mind. While the Association does not supply white goods, ample space is provided for tenants to install their own cooker and fridge/freezer. This allows for personal customisation and ensures that tenants can equip their kitchens according to their individual preferences and needs.

Bathrooms – Each bathroom is thoughtfully designed to include a toilet and handbasin. Additionally, tenants have either a shower cubicle or a wet room, providing flexibility and convenience to suit individual preferences and needs. This ensures a comfortable and accessible bathing experience for all tenants.

Main room – The main room is intended to be a welcoming and comfortable space designed for relaxation and socialising. It typically features, ample natural light, and a warm atmosphere, making it an ideal place for tenants to unwind, entertain guests, or enjoy their own activities.

Bedroom – The comfortable bedroom provides a cozy and private living space. It is designed for ease of access and mobility. The room is well-lit and inviting, offering a peaceful retreat while ensuring tenants have the necessary support and security.

Each of our Courts is designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for tenants. The lounge area is tastefully furnished, offering a cozy space for relaxation and social interaction. Adjacent to the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for hosting social events and gatherings. This kitchen is fitted with all the necessary appliances and utensils to cater to various activities and communal meals.

In addition to these communal areas, each Court features a well-being room, where tenants can engage in activities that promote physical and mental health. We also have a dedicated hairdressing room, where a visiting hairdresser provides professional services, ensuring tenants can maintain their grooming and feel their best.

For visiting family and friends, we offer a guest room with en-suite facilities. This room is available at a nominal charge of £12.00 for a single guest or £20.00 for two guests, making it convenient and affordable for loved ones to stay close by. Our aim is to create a supportive and vibrant community where tenants can enjoy a high quality of life.

To address this, we prioritise creating a vibrant community atmosphere through a variety of social activities within our courts. We believe that fostering connections and promoting a sense of belonging are essential for our tenant’s happiness and health.

Each Court offers a comprehensive program of social activities tailored to the size, location, and makeup of the community. Regular coffee mornings provide a relaxed setting for tenants to chat and connect. Bingo sessions and quiz nights offer fun and engaging ways to socialise, while horse racing nights add a touch of excitement. Outdoor barbeques and fish and chip suppers bring tenants together for enjoyable meals and conversations.
