Supporting tenants today, strengthening services for tomorrow.
Agamemnon Housing Association has introduced a new housing management
structure designed to strengthen services, improve resilience and ensure we
continue to provide high-quality homes and support for our tenants.
The new structure introduces the role of Housing Officer, supported by an Operations
Manager and a wider Tenant Support Team, including specialists in asset
management, finance, lettings and administration. This approach will help ensure
that tenants continue to receive a responsive and reliable service, whilst providing
greater flexibility to manage staff absence, emergencies and changing service
demands.
The Housing Officer role brings together traditional housing management
responsibilities with a stronger focus on tenant engagement, service improvement,
regulatory compliance and business continuity planning. Housing Officers will work
across two Courts, supported by colleagues, creating a more resilient and
sustainable service model.
The changes have followed a formal consultation process with affected colleagues.
As part of that process, two colleagues elected to take voluntary redundancy,
which removed the need for any competitive interview or assessment process. The
consultation has now concluded, and the new structure is being implemented.
For tenants, the benefits of the new structure include:
• Improved service resilience and continuity,
• Better emergency and business continuity arrangements,
• Stronger tenant engagement and involvement,
• Enhanced focus on service quality and compliance,
• Increased capacity for future investment in homes and services.
Whilst the way we organise our services is changing, our commitment to tenants
remains exactly the same. We remain dedicated to providing safe, well-managed
homes and quality living for veterans and older people.
We will be holding tenant information meetings during September to explain the
changes in more detail and answer any questions. We encourage tenants to attend
and share their views as we continue to develop and improve our services.
If you would like further information, please contact your Court Manager or the
Association directly.
