Our complaints policy details the process by which tenants may access the Housing Ombudsman: https://www.housing-ombudsman.org.uk/. This policy is available in the policies section of our website.
As an Association we will produce an annual complaints performance and service improvement report for scrutiny and challenge, which will include:
- The annual self-assessment against this Code to ensure the complaint handling policy remains in line with its requirements.
- A qualitative and quantitative analysis of our complaint handling performance. This will include a summary of the types of complaints we have refused to accept.
- Any findings of non-compliance with this Code by the Housing Ombudsman.
- The service improvements made as a result of the learning from complaints.
- Any annual report about the Associations performance from the Ombudsman; and any other relevant reports or publications produced by the Ombudsman in relation to the work of the Association.
